Recommended maintenance schedule
An oil boiler should be serviced at least once a year, preferably before the heating season begins in autumn. A pellet boiler requires maintenance 1-2 times a year depending on usage and fuel quality. Wood chip boilers require more frequent maintenance because the fuel is wetter and produces more ash.
Burner adjustment is recommended annually in conjunction with a flue gas analysis. A statutory chimney sweep inspection applies to all solid fuel boilers. We recommend a maintenance agreement so that annual servicing is carried out automatically at the right time of year without having to remember to schedule it yourself.
